Got my 1D MKIII back from Canon today, went in on the 18th for the Sub-Mirror repair. In the 6 months or so I've had the body I only ever had one batch of soft shots that were soft without any obvious cause (of course shot with AI Servo on a hot day in bright sun) but that was enough to convince me the repair was worth the hassle.
I've only had time to give it a brief test, One Shot seems slightly faster, if any different. Did a quick AI Servo test with a running subject, indoor light, 18/20 were keepers. The final two being soft, probably from the subject getting so close. So it seems spot on.
